Alan Sickman, a renowned, proven field leader in the network marketing industry and one of the foundational pillars of Max International, announced his return to Max International at the AMPLIFY 2012 International Convention, recently held in Salt Lake City, UT.
Alan and his wife Jean originally joined Max at its founding event in February 2007. Before his retirement last year, Alan Sickman was the number one income earner at Max. Citing a desire to relax and spend more time traveling with each other, Alan and Jean retired from their business in October of 2011 and sold it to GSH Investments (GSH), a management and investment consortium which includes former world #1 golfer Greg Norman, and his long-time business partners Bart Collins and David Chessler.
Invited as special guests to attend Max’s AMPLIFY 2012 convention, Alan and Jean spoke during Saturday night’s award gala on April 14. Alan thanked his friend and Max founder, Steven K. Scott, for the many great years at Max. At the end of his speech, Alan shocked everyone when he announced that he and his wife Jean had made a decision to return to network marketing, and that their future was with Max International.
Alan stated that he had received “hundreds of calls” from people and network marketing companies trying to recruit him as his six month non-compete was coming to a close. Despite all of these offers, after surveying the network marketing landscape Alan said that he “knew there is no better opportunity than Max International.”
Max Co-CEOs David Bagley and Joseph Voyticky both agree that Alan and Jean Sickman’s return to Max makes a strong statement that, even when the industry’s best field leaders survey the entire landscape of opportunities, Max proves to be the place to be. Max Founder, Steve Scott, wrote “I was very happy for Alan and Jean when they decided to retire and enjoy the life they had worked so hard to achieve. But, I was saddened for the rest of us because they were not only foundational pillars of our company’s success; they were cherished members of our Max family. Their return to Max is one of the greatest joys I have experienced in my business life. Shannon and I are excited beyond description.”
Alan has been involved in network marketing for the last 20 years and has been long recognized internationally as an extraordinary leader in the direct sales industry. He is passionate about Max International’s vision and its commitment to improving the quality of life of individuals, thanks to the distribution of scientifically-based products and a phenomenal home-based business opportunity. Alan noted that Max has experienced an amazing “re-birth,” and the “new Max” is now positioned to take the network marketing industry by storm.
Everyone at Max International is delighted to have Alan and Jean back, and collectively we look forward to phenomenal success in the coming months and years.
