Destination Max Cruise 2011

What is better than a cruise to the Bahamas?  A FREE cruise to the Bahamas with fellow Max Associates and executives!  What a great experience for everyone who attended – all while being able to share ideas and successes.

It was hot, hot, hot in Miami on July 24, when everyone arrived for an opening night reception at the Miami Downtown Hilton.  But Max Associates managed to turn up the heat even more.  All attendees were gifted “Destination Max” exclusive logo wear to don aboard the Royal Caribbean “Majesty of the Seas” and at multiple paradise destinations.  Corporate enjoyed socializing and getting better acquainted with Associates from the United States, Australia, Canada, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and Panama.

The first night aboard the ship was celebrated with a welcome reception.  Following introductions, fantastic hors d’oeuvres, and more giveaways, we had the great opportunity to hear from Steven K. Scott and Bob Kaelin.  Afterwards, we attended dinner as a group in the Starlight Dining Room, which is where we were able to spend every evening together aboard the ship.

Associates were able to spend Tuesday morning with Steve and Bob in an informal chat where Jose Camacho was invited to share his experiences and secrets on building a successful team. Then we made our way off the ship to experience our first destination in Nassau, Bahamas, a perfect place for shopping and sightseeing. Unfortunately, a few had some battle scars from a scooter accident, but they didn’t let that stop them from having a fabulous day. After boarding the ship Tuesday evening, we donned our finest attire for formal night. The evening was well documented with photographs. Our Diamond women even shared their rings with our Canadian Associates for a photo-op to get them excited for what their future holds.

Wednesday, we stopped on the private island of Coco Cay, Bahamas. We spent the morning on the beach playing volleyball and getting further acquainted.  The afternoon brought another informal chat where everyone had the opportunity to network and share their vision of Max.  Following dinner, we headed to the Bolero Lounge where we learned some Latin Dancing from our resident experts and discovered hidden talents from our Associates.  Watch for more exciting Latin Dancing at future Max events!

Thursday brought us back on US soil in Key West, Florida, where we enjoyed more scooter riding and shopping.  Travis Jones (Events Team) was able to get some fantastic video footage. The highlights included more sightseeing, excursions, and spending time together in paradise. After making it back safely on the ship, Max hosted a farewell reception where some discussion was focused on the importance of getting their teams REGISTERED FOR CONVENTION! We were all a little sad as we didn’t want our time together to end. But following one last dinner together playing “musical tables” for the final time, we celebrated in the Bolero Lounge with latin dancing accompanied by the incredible band.

The time aboard Majesty of the Seas was an unforgettable way to share successes and ideas with one another.

We are all looking forward to the next big Max Corporate Event, AMPLIFY – Max International Convention 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah, April 13 – 15, 2012 at the Salt Palace Convention Center.  Register now before the price increases.  Register at http://regmeup.com/thesystem/events/max/max2012
