Dear Associates,
Amidst the surging surf and the tropical sun of Maui, Max welcomed 19 Diamonds and their guests to the Grand Wailea Resort for our unforgettable Diamond Retreat (May 22 – May 28). This unforgettable week in one of the most spectacular places in the world, was reserved for Associates who had qualified as a Diamond Associate.
Becoming a Diamond Associate takes hard work and dedication, but the rewards for such an achievement are plentiful, including our fantastic experience together in Maui. I’m certain each of the Diamonds who attended would say that the experience in Maui was worth the effort it took to get there.
Steve, Dave and I were greatly privileged to share this time with our leaders—to celebrate their efforts, to chart the future of Max together, and to bond as partners in our grand undertaking. Even if you couldn’t be there, the Diamond Retreat will impact you because corporate and Associates are now synchronized as to how we will continue to grow Max for the remainder of 2011 and beyond.
We are involved in a business where strong relationships are absolutely essential for success. During this retreat, we all got to know and understand each other better, both Associate-to-Associate and Corporate-to-Associate. This will further our culture of honor. I know I can speak for Steve and Dave that the time we had together with our leaders was profoundly productive. We are all more excited than ever about the future of Max.

As that list illustrates, our opportunity is stronger than ever. New leaders are sprouting up in every market. At the 2010 convention, we had a total of 23 Diamonds. Since December, we have added 14 more!
