We’re excited to announce a new addition to the AMPLIFY 2012 Convention.  Max International will be hosting a special symposium on RiboCeine™ featuring both Herbert Nagasawa, Ph.D. and Scott Nagasawa, Pharm.D.  The symposium is scheduled at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 12

Dr. Herbert Nagasawa will share his story about the development of RiboCeine, from his initial hypothesis through 25 years of research and development, up to the key studies that demonstrated the effectiveness of this breakthrough compound.  Attendees will learn firsthand of the technical and scientific details that make Cellgevity™, MaxOne™, and MaxATP™ possible.  The presentation will last for 30 minutes and be followed by a Q & A session.  Breakfast will be included for all attendees.

Due to the technical nature of this symposium, attendance will be exclusive to licensed healthcare professionals and Ph.Ds.  Any Associate wishing to receive an official invitation will need to fax or email a copy of their current license or degree to the Max office. Herb NagasawaDr. Herbert Nagasawa received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Western Reserve University (now, Case-Western Reserve) in Cleveland, Ohio, and a Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry from the University of Minnesota. Subsequently, he spent two years as a Post-doctoral Fellow in biochemistry at the University of Minnesota before joining the research staff of the V.A. Medical Center in Minneapolis as a Senior Chemist.  He was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Minnesota in 1959, was named Principal Scientist of the VAMC in 1961 and was promoted in 1976 to Senior Research Career Scientist.  He was also promoted to Associate Professor in 1963 and then to Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in 1973. He also held joint professorships in the Department of Pharmacology and the university-wide Division of Toxicology, and served as Visiting Professor at Washington State University in 1990.

Scott NagasawaDr. Scott Nagasawa received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and is also a registered pharmacist. He spent over a dozen years at a 400-plus bed tertiary teaching hospital in Los Angeles, California, affiliated with the University of Southern California. At the time of his departure, he was the Director of Pharmaceutical Services. During this period, he held the position of Clinical Instructor of Pharmacy Practice at USC and was later promoted to Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice.

Both Herbert and Scott Nagasawa, along with Executive Director Scott Momii, constitute the Max International Research Team.
