Max International Recognized as a “Utah Genius”

John Jensen, General Counsel for Max, and the Genius Award

In recognition of its ground-breaking trademarks, Max International was invited to the fourth annual Utah Genius awards to highlight our commitment to innovation and development.

The Utah Genius awards were founded by Rand Bateman of Bateman IP Law Group, who also sponsored the event along with KSL TV and Newsradio, Zions Bank, the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

Mark Shurtleff, Utah's Attorney General, addresses the recipients

Bateman stated that he started the awards to recognize the scientists, engineers, innovators, and creators who bring success and prosperity to a community.  Award recipients aren’t nominated and can’t apply; instead they are chosen based on the number of patents and trademarks they apply for in a calendar year.

Max founder Steven K. Scott was on hand to receive the award recognizing Max’s 14 Registered Trademarks in 2011.    We’re grateful for this recognition, especially because it reflects our vision of promoting personal growth and success.  Just as we continue to grow the Max brand and company, we’re committed to helping our Associate grow their personal businesses.
