I’ve been thinking about how to help grow our networks and what would be the best ways to support our Associates’ field work.  After discussing it with the rest of the Max Colombia team, it is my pleasure to share with you these upcoming events we’ll be hosting in different cities of Colombia during the months of October, November and December 2012.  We hope these exciting events encourage ALL of our Associates to bring their prospects along as we continue to share the Max opportunity.

SPECIAL PRODUCT TRAINING

In order that our Associates and prospects know more about our wonderful products, we will have a special product training given by Dr. Sandra Alfaro, a specialist in Max products, in several cities of Colombia.  We will also have a business opportunity presentation, to educate everyone about the Max business and how people can earn additional revenue. We will be in Pasto October 16, Ibague October 17, Pereira October 18, Cali October 19, Yopal October 23, Medellin October 24, Bucaramanga October 25 and Bogotá October 27. Credit Card Installment Payments Now Accepted: Now all Associates who want to pay for their products over time with their credit card companies can now use installments of one (1) to twenty-four (24) months to pay.

Fewer Credit Cards Rejected: We are pleased to inform you that we have received the most recent report on rejected credit cards, and the numbers have decreased considerably. We have improved the antifraud payment process parameters while continuing to maintain high levels of security. This has made it so that the only reasons for credit card rejection have been for the following points:

1)     Insufficient funds in the cardholder’s account.

2)     Rejection by the card provider (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) for technical reason, such as not authorizing the card for Internet transactions.

3)     Problems with the card itself (i.e. past expiration date).

Max Colombia Weekly Meetings: The Max Colombia office will be hosting special company sponsored meetings every week:

• There will be a Max Opportunity Meeting every Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. given by local, leading Max Associates.  All Associates are welcome and are encouraged to bring their prospects.
• Every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 we will host a Visible Solutions Training and demonstration for Associates who want to learn more about how to share this great product.

Victoria is especially accomplished at developing strong relationships with both field leaders and her corporate colleagues. In addition to her experience in our industry, she has held management level positions with Citibank, Colombian Public Works Secretariate, and the Traffic and Transportation Ministry. Victoria is a graduate of the Universidad Santo Tomas with a degree in Economics, Business Administration and Management and received a post graduate degree from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Senora Del Rosario as a Private Finance Specialist. Victoria also studied English at Miami Dade Community College in the United States.

All of us at Max are very excited about Victoria’s addition to our management team. We also would like to recognize Dan Riordan’s work as interim General Manager of Colombia.  We’re grateful for Dan’s hard work and dedication in setting up Max Colombia and congratulate him on the very successful Regional and Colombian Road to Diamond events. Every Associate who hits Gold Rank for the first time is invited to attend the exclusive Road to Diamond Event for their region.  We’re proud to have held the first Colombian Road to Diamond Event a couple of days before the big Colombian Regional.  The President of Max International, Jim Stevralia, sent in his thoughts about the event.

“On Wednesday evening we all met for a buffet dinner and opened the Road to Diamond with a welcome by myself and V.P. of Sales Bob Kealin on behalf of Max International.  Diamond Associates Alex Monterrosa presented a discussion on how the Associates could create a ‘dream board,’ which would show their dreams, desires, goals and how to best achieve them all.

On Thursday morning I greeted everyone with warm thanks and congratulated each of the Gold Associates for their achievements. We welcomed them to the next phase of their Max career and to the transition it will bring.  We told them that they should always continue the activity and commitment that brought them to the Gold level while continuing to improve and develop those skills.  At the same time, they are now moving into a position where they will need to share and teach these skills with the people they are recruiting.

Bob Kaelin then gave a presentation of the different roads we all have taken to arrive at this important event. He discussed the value of having dreams and goals and then led a discussion about their ‘why’ for being in Max.  Bob’s presentation demonstrated why if we focus only on the day-to-day activities instead of the larger picture, then we can never fit the Diamonds or the most important things in our lives.

Team Building can be fun!

After lunch Alex had everyone share their dream boards.  This was a great way for the Associates to get to know one another better and commit to how they wanted to achieve their dreams.  One amazing thing we found was a common desire among all the Associates to help other people.  What an inspiring group!  Hector then stressed the importance Max and Rick emphasized how to best develop new Bronze leaders and then assisting them in achieving Gold.

We concluded the day by presenting present and gold pins to all of the Associates and urged them to use the tools they just learned as they share the Max mission with everyone they meet.  We ended the Road to Diamond with a great dinner and a great time together.
